Habana Clasica Music Festival
Formerly known as the Esteban Salas Early Music Festival, this annual classical musical event, celebrates the life and works of 18th Century Cuban composer Esteban Salas. It started in 2003, which was the year that represented 200 years since the composer had died.
Salas worked in many classical music styles including Medieval, Baroque, and Renaissance. Venues include some of Havana’s most impressive churches, chapels, theatres, and cultural centres.
